As of March 03, 2022, this project was awarded to Gum Creek Farms for $ 319,973.25. The Walton Road Sidewalk and Asphalt Path project the construction of a new 5ft. wide sidewalk along the south side of Walton Rd. with new crosswalk striping and signage. The project also includes the construction of a new 8 ft. wide asphalt path along the north side of Walton Rd. from Wee Care Park to State Road 83. New storm sewer will also be construction along the north side of Walton Rd. along the new asphalt path at the Tom Thumb gas station. Please refer to the plans and specifications for additional details. The schedule for this project will require the sidewalk along the south side of Walton Road to be completed within the first SIXTY (60) calendar days of issuance of the date of the Notice to Proceed. The asphalt path and storm sewer along the north side of Walton Road will then be completed within the remaining calendar days established for completion of the project. Pre-bid conference - Bidders attending via teleconference are strongly encouraged to join the teleconference at least 10 minutes before the designated start time. If unable to join the teleconference at the number above, please call 850-892-8108 and ask to be included in the Walton Roady Sidewalk and Asphalt Path Pre-Bid Teleconference.
Attendance of ALL bidders will be confirmed via roll call at no later than 5 minutes after the designated start time and any Bidder not present for the roll call will not be eligible to bid on the project. ALL Bidders must remain until the conference is adjourned. The County will not accept bids from bidders arriving after attendance is confirmed or departing prior to adjournment of the pre-bid conference All technical questions regarding this Request should be directed in writing; preferably by email to the Purchasing Agent. Questions shall be submitted no later than 12:00 Noon (local time) on January 31, 2022.
