The City of Depoe Bay is requesting proposals for final engineering and construction documents for replacement of Docks 2, 3, and 4 in the Depoe Bay Harbor. At this time the City requests services for final engineering drawings and specifications, i.e., 100% design, construction bid documents including construction costs, and assistance during construction bidding as set out below. Project Information The Depoe Bay harbor consists of four primary docks. Dock #1 was replaced in 2012 following damage incurred from the 2011 Tohoku Tsunami. Docks #2, #3, and #4 are many years old and need to be replaced. Docks #2 and #3 are approximately 240 feet in length. Dock #4 is approximately 180 feet long. The docks are approximately 10 feet wide. At minimum, the existing dock lengths and widths will be maintained. The dock replacement will include replacement of existing pilings, replacement of finger piers, and replacement of utilities, i.e., water and electrical. Existing 'H' pilings will be replaced with round pilings. Dock design must meet all state and federal design specifications. The City completed conceptual engineering for Docks 2, 3, & 4 in 2015. This information and the available hydrological information is attached as a part of the RFP for your reference. Final Design will be based generally on the 2015 Conceptual Engineering.
