Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Morehead City, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
Bids will be received for single prime construction contract. Bidders should clearly indicate on the outside of the bid envelope, "Bid Proposal for: C-1640(M) Log Storage Area - Port of Morehead City", their NC General Contractor's License Number and that the bid is for "Single Prime Bid". A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) is required to access the port. If you do not have a TWIC, please contact Justin Marsh, Phone No. (910) 746-6470 prior to the pre-bid meeting for access arrangements. The owner reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities. The North Carolina State Ports Authority (NCSPA) is developing 3.6 acres for a log laydown area at the Port of Morehead City. Once developed the area will accept large logs that will be stockpiled until enough cargo has been received to fill an export vessel. This project includes furnishing all materials, labor, tools and equipment, and incidentals for the complete and proper construction of this log storage area
