New construction and renovation of a detention facility in Boscobel, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the construction of a detention facility; and for the renovation of a 4,657-square-foot detention facility.
**As of April 29, 2024, The project has not been awarded. It will be going back out for bids in about a year or so..** Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted. In general, the work consists of: the construction of a new Health Services Unit (HSU) addition and remodel the existing HSU to expand the restrictive housing unit (RHU) Program space at the Wisconsin Secure Program Facility (WSPF) in Boscobel, Wisconsin. The project will meet the medical, dental, and therapeutic needs of the maximum-security population. The new HSU will include: waiting area, examination rooms, staff offices and workspace, medical record storage, medication and supply rooms, dental operatory, laboratory space, telemedicine systems, an officer station and related storage space.
