This bid is for the existing five concession stand facilities located at the Hidden Valley Sports Complex. The season typically runs rom late March through October. The term of this bid will be for the 2022, 2023, and 2024 seasons. The proposed bid will take effect on March 1, 2022. There are two options on how vendors may bid this contract- Option A is as an Annual Flat Fee bid; Option B is as a percentage of total monthly sales. The City of Blue Springs will select the most advantageous bid for the City. The term of this bid will be for the 2022, 2023 and 2024 seasons. The city may extend this bid for two additional one- year agreements if both parties agree to an extension for the years 2025 and 2026 seasons. The proposed bid will take effect on March 1" , 2022. This site is the location for a majority of community youth sport league games (Youth Softball, Legion Baseball, Youth Soccer and Youth Football). The City operates the youth soccer program, all the other sports are ran by volunteer youth sports associations. The dates and times of the games are managed by each individual entity that is running that particular program. The City of Blue Springs also manages the grounds and facilities of the complex. The successful bidder will be required by State law to certify that they are legal U.S. citizen and will be required to complete affidavits to this. Operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration (SSA), contractor must complete the E-Verify Employment Verification program that allows employers to electronically verify the employment eligibility of their newly hired employees by accessing.A copy of the Memorandum of Understanding signature page received upon completion of the program is required to be on file with the city prior to the approval of contract. The selected vendor will also be responsible for following all Jackson County Health Department food handler guidelines and obtaining all necessary permits. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in the bid, and to select the bid deemed most advantageous to the City. No offeror may withdraw his bid for a period of (60) sixty days after the date of opening. Selected contractor will be required to be a registered business with the Missouri Secretary of State, obtain a City of Blue Springs Business License, provide proof of E-Verify documentation and provide Certificate of Insurance listing the City of Blue Springs as additional insured.
