In accordance with the Public Private Educational Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002 (PPEA), Prince Edward County has received an unsolicited proposal for review from Prince Edward County Infrastructure, LLC. The proposal represents a public-private partnership to provide the County with engineering design and construction services for the development of raw water intake to utilize the existing water supply of the Sandy River Reservoir, a water treatment facility, and the infrastructure of a water distribution system to comprehensively serve the County's anticipated key growth areas and potential customers. The County intends to evaluate the proposal, may negotiate a comprehensive agreement, and will accept for simultaneous consideration any competing proposals that comply with the procedures adopted by the County, and the provisions of the PPEA.
