As of April 5, 2022 This project is already awarded to KS Telecom with the awarded amount of $801,500.98. The Elk Grove Unified School District ("District") is requesting a proposal (RFP) from Contractors holding a Class C-7 license, for the E-rate Infrastructure Hardware and Installation project at fourteen (14) school sites. MDF 1) Inventory all network equipment and document all serial numbers and asset tag to location. 2) Assemble rack mount hardware 3) Upgrade network equipment firmware to current production firmware (coordinate/confirm with District Technology Services Network Team). 4) Configure network equipment according to district standard configuration. 5) Install network equipment into assign locations and interconnect WAN, backbone to all IDFs and patch in all terminated data drops. 6) Label network equipment on right hand side using 6mm Black-on-White TZ tape. Label switches as follows: a) Router = Abbreviated Site - Core (FHS-Core = Florin High School-Core) b) MDF Switch = Abbreviated Site - MDF - SW## (i.e. FHS-MDF-SW1 = Florin High School-MDF-Switch#1) c) IDF Switch = Abbreviated Site - IDF## - SW## (i.e. FHS-IDF00-SW2 = Florin High School-IDF00-Switch#2) 7) Test and verify every VLAN on each switch by making sure the test device can receive an IP address and the test device can ping the following: a) Itself b) Default Gateway c) 10.10.10.1 8) After all networks on the switch have been validated, secure the MDF. The Administration reserves the right to accept or reject any and all SOQ/P, to negotiate with any and all-responsible firms, and to waive any informality in the process. In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1770 et seq. payment of the appropriate general prevailing rate of wages for all crafts employed on the public works site is required of the Contractor and all subcontractors.
