**As of February 28, 2022, Bid is cancelled. The proposed work consists of the following: The furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary for the interior demolition of existing flooring, baseboards, partition wall, vinyl floor mat, electrical receptacles, toilet, sink, restroom fixtures, wall board, countertops, and cabinetry. Interior renovation work including new flooring, baseboards, interior painting, floor mat, electrical receptacles, toilet, sink, restroom fixtures, wall board, metal cabinetry, countertops, and all other associated work. The contract documents for the Project, including the public works construction contract, instructions to bidders, bid forms, and plans and specifications, may be examined at the Agency office, with prior notice to the Agency s representative, located at 13720 Butterfield Drive, Truckee, California 96161. Bidders must comply with the Instructions to Bidders. Instructions on how to attend this virtual meeting will be given to all registered plan holders. To inspect the work area, please contact the Agency s office to schedule an appointment. It is suggested that each prospective bidder review the bid documents and project site prior to the pre-bid conference. Each prospective bidder shall be required to attend the pre-bid conference. Bids from any bidder not attending this conference will be rejected as non-responsive. The Agency will provide access to the project site(s) prior to bid opening upon request. Please send request to Scott Fleming, sfleming@ttsa.ca.gov Access to the project site(s) is an opportunity for bidders to assess existing conditions, confirm estimated quantities and scope of work, perform all measurements, and conduct field investigations necessary for proper Bid preparation. Failure to perform these activities shall not be a basis for claims related to assessing existing conditions and constraints and performing all verifications. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment bond and faithful performance bond each in the full amount of the Contract price, and insurance with certificates and endorsements of insurance, as provided in the Contract Documents. The required bonds must be provided only by a surety insurer who is admitted to do business by and in good standing with the California Department of Insurance. Bidders are hereby notified that in accordance with Public Contract Code section 22300, securities may be substituted for any monies that the Agency may withhold pursuant to the terms of this Contract to ensure performance. The successful bidder must possess the following classification or type of contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board: Class A. To be qualified to bid on this Project, bidders must be registered and qualified to perform public work with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant section 1725.5 of the Labor Code. All subcontractors listed in a qualified bidder s bid as performing any portion of the work also must be registered and qualified with the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids that equal or exceed $1,000,000 must be accompanied by an Iran Contracting Act certification in the form provided in section 1.9. The attention of bidders is directed to the requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and prevailing wage rates to be paid to all workers employed under the Contract in accordance with Labor Code sections 1770 and following. Copies of the prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the Agency's office and will be made available to any interested party on request. In accordance with Labor Code section 1771.4(a)(1), this project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. The Agency reserves the right to reject all bids. Any bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Contract Documents may be rejected. The Agency may extend the time to award the Contract. The Work shall be performed during the period between September 19th, 2022 through November 4th, 2022.
