Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Stockbridge, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; for paving for a educational facility; pipeline; pipeline; pipeline; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and theater / auditorium.
The work for this project includes demolition activities to remove existing front canopies, walkways, landscaping and utilities across front of existing building then building a new front canopy and walkway plaza along with new gas line and storm drain system. The new canopy consists of a structural steel frame with brick and metal panel veneers and TPO roof system. Also included in the Work is renovating an existing bus canopy by removing the existing roof materials and metal deck, replacing with new cellular metal deck and TPO roof system along with painting structural steel frame and cleaning concrete walkway and retaining walls and repainting railings. Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after time has been called on date of opening. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Base Bid. Both a Performance and a Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
