** This project has been cancelled due to lack of bids.** The scope of work for the project will include renovations of mechanical and electrical systems for the building. Mechanical upgrades will include the installation of a new Heat Recovery Ventilator and Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning Unit along with all associate mechanical requirements provided in the mechanical design. Electrical upgrade will include a new electrical service and panel to support the mechanical upgrades along with all associated electrical design requirements needed. This will be a turnkey project to the Owner. This project is to provide cooling capacity for the gym area of this facility. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Bozeman, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS, shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The Contractor is required to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids, which is at 3:00 p.m., local time, MAY 12, 2022. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the owner.
