Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Bozeman, Montana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
** This project has been awarded to Pace Painting LLC in the amount of $169,000. ** The project work is generally described as follows (the "Work"): The scope of work for the project will include fully repainting the exterior finishes of Story Mansion, 811 S Willson Ave., Bozeman, MT 59715. Painting work will include all activities necessary to properly repaint the exterior of the building, including cleaning painted surfaces, scraping failing paint, sanding, caulking, minor repair to re-secure any loose siding or trim, priming bare wood and painting all siding and trim. This will be a turnkey project to the Owner. This project is to provide durable and high quality exterior finishes with an expected 10 year life, and is to be completed in the 2022 painting season. CONTRACTOR and any of the CONTRACTOR'S subcontractors doing work on this project will be required to obtain registration with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). Forms for registration are available from the Department of Labor and Industry, P.O. Box 8011, 1805 Prospect Avenue, Helena, Montana 59604-8011. Information on registration can be obtained by calling 1-406-444-7734. CONTRACTOR is not required to have registered with the DLI prior to bidding on this project, but must have registered prior to execution of the Construction Agreement. All laborers and mechanics employed by CONTRACTOR or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Gallatin County and the state of Montana. Discrimination in the performance of any contract awarded under this invitation on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, marital status, national origin, or actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity or disability is prohibited. This prohibition shall apply to the hiring and treatment of the awarded entity's employees and to all subcontracts. Every entity submitting under this invitation must sign and return the required non-discrimination affirmation. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Bozeman, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. Successful BIDDERS, shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance as required shall be provided by the successful BIDDER(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the OWNER.
