Base Bid to provide all material, labor, equipment, and services necessary to remove, furnish and install Advanced-Glass, or approved equal, pool interior fiberglass lining system on the existing City Swimming Pools located at address 1200 Comanche Trail, Comanche, Texas. There is an existing large pool and a smaller kid pool. The project consists of fully removing and replacing the existing fiberglass coating system of the swimming pools which have a total perimeter of approximately 400-feet (approx. 8,300 square feet). The black safety lines and all markers need to be re-applied to meet all regulatory requirements. Bidders will be required to provide submittals for material in accordance with standard practice (including manufacturer's recommendations, specifications, application procedures and standards), which will become part of the Contract Documents, for the fiberglass lining system to be installed. The Base Bid also includes replacing two sand filters, filter media, piping, valves, and incidentals. The project also consists of an Alternate Base Bid to remove the existing coating system and apply a bond coat and plaster pools with a conventional white plaster in lieu of the fiberglass coating system. Plastering shall meet the ANSI/APSP/ICC/NPC-12 2016 Standard for the Plastering of Swimming Pools and Spas. The Alternate Base Bid also includes replacing two sand filters, piping, valves, and incidentals. Cost for digital download of CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be $20.00. Contractors must purchase a set of CONTRACT DOCUMENTS to be considered a registered plan holder eligible to bid the project.
