Renovation of an educational facility in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The proposal must be accompanied by a certified check made payable to the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid or an acceptable bidder's surety bond made payable to Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, in a specific amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Indiana. The certified check or bidder's bond shall be a guarantee that said bidder will, if the contract is awarded to him, execute within ten (10) days from the acceptance of his proposal a contract for the work bid upon, and furnish acceptable surety bonds as set forth in the specifications. If the contractor has not executed the contract within the ten (10) day period, or has failed to furnish acceptable surety bonds as indicated, the Board of School Trustees reserves the right to award the contract to the next higher or best bidder. All persons intending to submit a bid with EVSC must comply with MBE WBE utilization and E-Verification policy and procedures as outlined in the specifications. Said sealed proposals shall be for the furnishing of all materials and the performance of all labor according to the drawings and specifications prepared by Jack R. Kinkel & Son Architects, PC Architect Engineer for this project No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Board of School Trustees of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defects or informalities if deemed by it to be for the best interest of said Board. The project generally consists of the following: 1.1 Removal and proper disposal of existing items as indicated on Drawings. 1.2 Removal and replacement of Unit Ventilators and associated piping, decorative metal pipe shrouds, electrical and other work as required for complete and operational system. 1.3 Removal and replacement of Condensing Units and associated piping, decorative metal pipe shrouds, electrical items and other work as required for complete and operational system. 1.4 Removal and replacement of Air Handling Units and associated piping, decorative metal pipe shrouds, electrical items and other work as required for complete and operational system. 1.5 Structural steel supports, roof repairs, and tie-in of new roof materials at new roof curb openings as indicated on Drawings for new roof curbs. 1.6 New housekeeping pads as required for new Air Handling Units. 1.7 New control valves for existing heating coils as indicated on drawings. 1.8 New coil circulating pumps for all air handling unit coils as indicated on drawings. 1.9 Modifications to existing Building Automation System to control all new equipment and existing heating coil valves as indicated on Drawings. 1.10 Functional testing and commissioning of all new equipment and any associated automatic controls. 1.11 Other items as indicated on drawings and as required for a complete project. 1.2. Project location: Culver Family Learning Center 1301 Judson Street Evansville, IN 47713 1.3. Contract Documents, dated December 23, 2021, including all addenda and revisions as prepared for the project by Jack R. Kinkel & Son Architects, 312 N.W. MLK Blvd., Suite 100, Evansville, IN 47708. 1.4. The work will be constructed under a single prime contract, General Contractor
