Pre-Bid Meeting No Online Q&A No Expansion of existing addressable Gamewell-FCI fire alarm systems for multiple mixed occupancy municipal buildings contiguous within the Beverly Hills Civic Center Campus. Each building will be bid individually as an independent project where the scope of work includes all control equipment, devices, conduit, wire, and 120VAC power specific to each building. The projects will involve selective demolition and replacement of existing fire alarm devices along with safe-off and protection-in-place of existing fire alarm system devices and control units which will remain. The contractor will be responsible for reprogramming and expansion of the existing main fire alarm control panel including all necessary software and firmware upgrades to support the additional fire alarm system devices. All new fire alarm system devices shall be compatible with and listed for use with the existing system. The projects will be completed in multiple phases which may require multiple rounds of acceptance testing with the authority having jurisdiction. The contractor will perform all site investigations necessary to develop permit submittal documents. The contractor will be responsible for permit submittal and obtaining approval from the authority having jurisdiction; along with coordination and successful completion of final acceptance testing. A 100% re-test of all existing fire alarm devices will be required. A 10% bidders security or bid bond will be required to bid, and the selected lowest responsible bidder will be required to provide 100% performance & payment bonds.
