Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Bath, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about November 24, 2021 for Building 76 Exterior Renovations. The general scope of this project is to renovate and improve accessibility to the existing exterior and interior of the main hospital building through a new entrance to be located at the south end, ground & 1st floor of building 76. Renovation to include a drive up, at-grade and covered entrance and revisions of the reception area to the Urgent Care Clinic, regrading of existing roadway and main patient drop off areas. Construction will include, but is not limited to: Demolition of existing masonry walls and steel supported patio deck. Construction of a new masonry addition. Exterior site renovations including grading and paving. Installation of a new elevator and stairway. Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing and Mechanical. Roofing. Interior finishing. All work will be accomplished on the Bath VAMC campus as indicated in the specifications and drawings. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for SDVOSB firms. The NAICS code is 236220. The cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
