Dimeo Construction Company is the Construction Manager and is soliciting PREQUALIFICATION for an Electrical Package for the University of Connecticut Traffic Signalizations Project. This is a single 4-way intersection project with an estimated budget of $1,300,000.00. The project consists of new mast arms, signals, wiring, sitework, concrete, and demolition. This project is located in Storrs, CT. Construction to start in Spring of 2022 with a substantial completion in Summer of 2022. This project will be performed under a Project Labor Agreement (PLA). All bidders must complete and submit a prequalification package in order to bid this project. In addition to being prequalified by Dimeo all contractors bidding on packages over $500,000 are required to be DAS Prequalified. A list of the bid package and estimated value is posted within the Prequalification package. Scopes identified as "Set-Aside are required to be performed by companies that are SBE or MBE as certified by the CT DAS. Provide current certification with Prequalification. All prime contractors (Including Electrical) working on the project must utilize Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) certified by the State of Connecticut DAS Supplier Diversity Program, to meet the goal of 30% allocation to SBE's, of which 10% must be allocated to MBE's only.
