Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge FY2022 RFQ - tail-gate spread GAB and #57 rock on refuge roads Period of Performance February 1, 2021 to August 15, 2022 Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge is located in Jones and Jasper Counties, Georgia. The refuge is seeking bids for tailgate spread of approximately _2140_ tons of GAB and _1150 tons of #57 rock in several locations. Primary project areas are north of the Round Oak-Juliette Road. Delivery and tailgate spread of GAB and #57 rock will occur between February 1 and August 15, 2022 as needed. Minimum daily load delivery is 20 loads. Delivery locations are public roads and contractor must be able to tailgate spread to directed thickness (2-6 inches) without excessive dumping that blocks road from normal vehicle travel. Excessive dumping must be remediated by the contractor within 24 hours. The Refuge will provide 1 week notice of need. The contractor will deliver material within 7 days of notification as scheduled unless weather conditions prohibit. Invoices for partial payments will be accepted.
