A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project includes the following Work: Removal and replacement of a 6-inch submersible municipal well pump, reconstruction of the upper well casing and cap, removal and replacement of well house piping and instrumentation, well house electrical improvements, installation of a natural gas emergency generator, demolition of existing well house structure and construction of proposed well house structure in the Village of Heuvelton. American Iron and Steel Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and subsequent statutes mandating domestic preference applies an American Iron and Steel requirement to this project. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials. The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimis, Minor Components, Pig iron and direct reduced iron. 3. SCOPE OF WORK a. Lump sum price shall include all move-in costs, contractor construction trailers, electrical, telephone, sanitation facilities, construction equipment, insurance, bonds, pre-construction and construction photographs; costs associated with start-up and contract performance including dust control; erosion control, independent testing of concrete and soils, compaction testing, permits and periodic cleanup. Also included are miscellaneous administrative items such as, but not necessarily limited to, project schedules, operation and maintenance data, and record drawings. Demobilization shall also be included in this item, as well as weekly temporary mulching of all disturbed areas. Lump sum price shall also include cost of removing and disposing, in a legal manner, of existing structures and materials to be replaced; and furnishing all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete work to satisfaction of the Owner and the Owner’s Representative.
