Site work and paving for a road / highway in Oregon, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The proposed work includes: Road 260 Construct 200 feet (+/-) of Roadway Shoulder and Embankment Improvements Road 300 Construct 90 feet (+/-) of Roadway Shoulder and Embankment Improvements including Rock Blanket Installation. This is a public works project in the State of Missouri. Missouri's Prevailing Wage Law establishes a minimum wage rate for public works projects in Missouri valued over $75,000. If bid value is applicable to this, the minimum wage rates for this project have been predetermined as required by law and are set forth in the bid proposal. Certified payroll shall be submitted for each employee and approved on a weekly basis. Safety Training Program - Bidders are informed that the project is subject to the requirements of Section 292.675 RSMo., pertaining to on-site employees completing a course in construction safety and health approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Enrollment in Federal Work Authorization Program - Bidders are informed that, pursuant to Section 285.530 RSMo., the successful bidder shall, by sworn affidavit and provision of documentation, affirm its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection to the contracted services. The Holt County Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive all informalities or irregularities in bids. The County also reserves the right to reject any and all construction upon completion if it does not meet the specifications or fails to meet normal quality criteria. A certified or cashier's check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal.
