The City of Springfield is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of exterior windows and select doors as well as the associated masonry and flashing work at the Springfield High School of Science & Technology located at 1250 State St., Springfield, MA to include abatement of sealants associated with window replacement. Sub-bidders must be certified by the State Division of Capital Asset Management in the following categories: Masonry and Metal Windows. SEALED BIDS FOR: A Prime/General Contractor and Filed Sub-Bid contracts are requested through the Office of Procurement. Bidding procedures are per Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L.) Chapter 149 as amended and other applicable statutes. Chapter 149 requires that the Prime/General Contractor be certified by the State Division of Capital Asset Management in the category "General Contractor." All questions regarding the bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement (Hbutton@springfieldcityhall.com) by January 5, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. All bidders are advised that the minimum wage rate schedule, issued by the Massachusetts Department of Labor and Standards are included in the specifications and shall prevail in the work on this project.
