For Elevator Modernization Phase 2 - Filed Sub The SPRINGFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY, (the Owner and Awarding Authority), invites sealed bids from GENERAL CONTRACTORS for construction of ELEVATOR MODERNIZATION PHASE 2 at its Riverview Apartments development located in Springfield, Massachusetts The Project (Including Base Bid plus 2 Alternates) consists of comprehensive modernization of six existing elevator systems; two systems located in each of three Buildings on two adjacent sites. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Notice to Proceed for this Project may be issued as much as 90 days from the date the Springfield Housing Authority approves the construction contract The work is estimated to cost $4,482,138.00 including Base Bid and two Alternates. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to Federal minimum wage rates as indicated in Section 00.73.43-LABOR REGULATIONS Filed sub-bidders must be DCAMM certified for the trades listed below and must include a current DCAMM Filed Sub-Bidder Certificate of Eligibility and a signed DCAMM Filed Sub-Bidder's Update Statement Each Filed Sub-bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all Alternates) and made payable to the Springfield Housing Authority.
