Annual Engineering and Construction Related Services. The City of Richmond (the "City") is requesting proposals through this Request for Proposals to establish a contract for the services of multiple experienced and professionally qualified engineering firms (the "Contractor") with substantial professional experience in the implementation of Capital Improvement Program ("CIP") projects. The City requires services including complete design engineering services and construction administration as related to studies, graphic presentations, standards, designs, investigations, inspections, construction documents, cost estimates, and construction administration services for the City's surface transportation program. The City reserves the right to extend the Contract for any reason for a period or periods up to but not to exceed 12 months. The City may, at its sole option, renew this Contract for up to four (4) one (1)-year renewal terms by furnishing the Contractor with written notice of its decision to renew the Contract at least 60 calendar days before the expiration of the preceding term. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of the City to be in its best interest. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
