The School District of Greenwood is soliciting bid proposals from qualified lawn care and landscape maintenance contractors to provide contract lawn care and landscape maintenance in specified locations within the school district for the periods of: April 1, 2022 through Nov. 15, 2022 April 1, 2023 through Nov. 15, 2023 Bids must be in accordance with the Request for Proposals available from the School District of Greenwood. Mowing, Trimming, Weed Control/Fertilization, and Mulching 2.1 Furnish all labor, equipment and material necessary to complete the maintenance of all district grass and trimming as specified herein. The work to be completed, shall include but not be limited to: 2.2 Services to be completed: a). Greenwood Elementary School lawn, Baseball Field (two times per week in season April 15-July 15), Softball Field area, and Outdoor Classroom grounds b). Greenwood High School, Dr. Olson Football Field and athletic practice field The cutting height shall be between 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 inches. 3.2 Mowing will be performed without disturbing bed areas, trees/shrubbery or structures. 3.3 Grass clippings, leaves or other debris will be swept/blown from all walkways, driveways, and parking areas. 3.4 Litter and other debris shall be removed prior to mowing. 3.5 Alternate mowing direction where feasible. 3.6 Excess grass clippings shall be bagged and removed from site as determined by district administrator. All lawn areas adjacent, but not limited to buildings, walkways, curbs, lights, signs, trees, beds, fences shall be trimmed to approx-imately 2 inches in height. 4.2 Shrubs at both school sites shall be trimmed annually to ensure plant health, appearance, and safety.
