The proposed work includes all labor, materials, tools, supplies, utility and transportation services, equipment and all incidentals necessary for the Bid #22-71 CDBG REPLENISHMENT PROJECT - GROUP 2 RECONSTRUCTION E 7TH ST (IOWA TO LECLAIRE) AND LECLAIRE ST (6TH-8TH) This project is located along Leclaire St from 6th St to 8th St and 7th St from Iowa St to Leclaire St. For all bids over $100,000, the City of Davenport requires a Bid Bond of 5% of the bid amount. A copy of the front page of the bid bond must be attached in the "Response Attachments" tab of the bid package. Bids over $100,000, submitted without a bid bond will not be considered. For awarded bids over $100,000, the awarded contractor will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount, and said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. Working Days - The Contractor shall complete all work, including final cleanup and removal of all equipment within 85 working days. Liquidated Damages - Liquidated damages shall be $500.00 per day. Funding for this project is federal CDBG funding. See attached information requirements at the end of this document. Davis-Bacon prevailing wages will apply to this project. All CDBG paperwork must be signed and agreed to Manufacturer's written warranties and guarantees shall also be required from the awarded bidder. Bidders must include with the bid submittal a Certificate of Insurance for General Liability, Workers Compensation, and Vehicle insurance coverages.
