CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/2/2022 6:30 PM North of 81 Sewer Extension, Multi-Prime, General Construction Contract The Silver Spring Township Authority proposes to construct a sanitary sewer extension in Silver Spring Township in the area of Wertzville north of Interstate 81 and east of Route 114. The Project includes the construction of gravity and forced sanitary sewers and a sewage pump station. Scope of work includes installation of approximately 26,000 linear feet of new sanitary sewer with associated manholes, 6,500 linear feet of new sanitary force main with associated appurtenances, sanitary sewer laterals and cleanouts, low pressure sanitary sewer laterals and force main and two borings under Interstate 81 and Wertzville Road. The pump station will include the construction of a precast wet well and valve vault, duplex submersible pumps and controls, control building with generator and associated access drive. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within (90) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
