Renovation of a residential development in Saint Martinville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Work for this project is generally described as the selective demolition of roofing shingles, felt, boots, accessories, and tarps AND the installation of new architectural style asphalt shingle roofing with underlayment, metal trim, vent caps, and other necessary and required work for proper installation as described in the specifications and construction documents. The Owner requires the Architect to issue Substantial Completion of the Work on or before 45 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. A Bid Security (a certified check or bank draft made payable to the Housing Authority, U. S. Government Bonds, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the bidder and acceptable Sureties) in the amount of 5% of the highest possible quote amount is required. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all quotes for just cause. The successful contractor will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. A Pre-Bid conference will be scheduled by addendum.
