** This project has been awarded to Michaels Corporation in the amount of $1,033,367. ** DESCRIPTION OF WORK: SCHEDULE A: The WORK to be completed includes rehabilitating approximately 8,000 lineal feet of sanitary sewer pipe using the cure-in-place pipe (CIPP) method, reinstating approximately 140 side sewers and removing 4 protruding laterals. SCHEDULE B: The WORK to be completed includes rehabilitating approximately 1,300 lineal feet of storm sewer pipe using the cure-in-place pipe (CIPP) method, reinstating approximately 22 side sewers and removing 5 protruding laterals Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. The failure to furnish a bid deposit of a minimum of 5 percent shall make the bid nonresponsive and shall cause the bid to be rejected by the Contracting Agency .The successful bidder will also be required to provide a Performance Bond for 100 percent, of the Contract Price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Bremerton.
