DESCRIPTION OF WORK This contract is the second phase of work on Chico Creek that includes the replacement of a culvert with a bridge on NW Golf Club Hill Road and the installation of stream restoration elements. The bridge is complete with adjacent stream restoration grading and Engineered Log Jam (ELJ) installations. In this second phase, related stream restoration actions continue further up- and downstream of the previous installation. Specific work includes the installation of engineered log jams, removal of existing weirs, grading within the stream corridor, and overbank planting. The engineer's estimate ranges from $700,000 to $1,100,000. Plans and Contract Provisions will not be shipped until the fee is received.
