This project consists of an extension of an existing 6 force main and adding valves and appurtenances to re-route existing sewer flows. The new line will improve the ability and capacity of the existing lift stations to pump sewer to the Advanced Wastewater Treatment Facility. A Bid Bond or Cashiers Check in the amount of 5% of Bid shall accompany Bid. The City of Lynn Haven reservesthe right to reject any and all bids. TheCity also reservesthe right to reject contractors who do not meet the minimum required standards and are not qualified to perform the work. All Bids shall be firm for a period of 90 days after opening. This includes material prices. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. All bidders shall comply with all applicable state and local laws concerning licensing, registration, and regulations of contractors doing business in Florida. Respondents to this solicitation or persons acting on their behalf may not contact between the release of the solicitation and the end of the 72-hour period following the agency posting the notice of intended award, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, any employee or officer of the executive or legislative branch concerning any aspect of this solicitation, except in writing to the procurement officer or as provided in the solicitation documents. Violation of this provision may be grounds for rejecting a response. The City shall award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
