Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lynchburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of February 23, 2022 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award is not yet established. Description:The Scope of Work consists of two separate projects as shown on the plan set. The scope of the first project will consist of the construction of 573 linear foot of access road and stormwater basin which will begin on Bradley Drive and extend into the Lynchburg City Schools Maintenance Facility at 3525 John Capron Road Lynchburg Virginia 24501. The second part of the project will consist of the installation of approximately 810 linear feet of sidewalk located along Wards Ferry Road adjacent to Heritage High School. The sidewalk will begin at a point at the northwest corner of Timberlake Road and Wards Ferry Road and terminating at the first entrance from Wards Ferry Road into the school campus. It is the sole responsibility for the Bidder to ensure their bid is time stamped prior to the deadline for submission; late bids/proposals will not be considered. All requests for clarification of or questions regarding this Advertisement for Bids or for additional information must be made in writing to: Melissa Tillman, CPPB, Procurement Division by email to melissa.tillman@lynchburgva.gov and received by 1:00 p.m., January 24, 2022. All posted clarifications or addenda must be acknowledged on the Bid Form. Failure to acknowledge the addenda may deem the bid non-responsive.
