The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of Riverside County Regional Park & Open-Space District is seeking proposals from qualified parties qualified in providing Preliminary Environmental and Engineering Consulting Services for the Butterfield Overland Trail: Stoffer Property Segment for the County of Riverside's Regional Park & Open-Space District. The Riverside County Regional Park and Open-Space District (DISTRICT) owns a 13.5 acre property referred to as Stoffer Property and a subsequent trail easement extending from the property (See attached Exhibit A). The DISTRICT intends to use Stoffer Property as a trail head and staging area for the in and back trail loop using the owned trail easement. The DISTRICT is seeking a consultant to complete an Initial Study and Mitigated or Negative Declaration as well as AB 52 Consulting and Conduct initial meeting with the RCA to determine if any special species studies will be required as well as review of the current Arizona Crossing and any other hydrology studies that may be required. In addition, the DISTRICT is seeking Preliminary Engineering Design to be used for subsequent Design/Build Contract once all environmental work has been completed. Deliverables: Initial Study including AB 52 Letters & Consultations and any required Special Species Studies Preliminary Grading and Engineering Plan for Staging Area and Trail Segment The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
