Renovation of a mixed-use development in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and medical facility.
Q & A deadline: Jan 14, 2022 6:00:00 PM EST Bids will be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by University of Utah U Facilities and DIXON & ASSOCIATES, hereinafter referred to as "A/E" as defined in the General Conditions. Scope of Work: Please provide full scope of work as outlined in drawings, addendum, and specs. Please note the requirements for the Forbo flooring installer. Persons or companies bidding on this project shall hold a current Utah Contractor's License covering the type of work to be done and shall be bondable to the amount of the Contract. Contractors who plan to bid on this project must be represented and must sign the official "sign-in" roster provided at the meeting. Questions raised at the meeting will be noted and answers will be included in an addendum issued prior to the bid opening. A list of Contractors who attended the meeting will be included in the addendum. Please note that only persons directly employed by the represented Contractor may sign for that Contractor; and, only the bids supplied by Contractors who are listed in the addendum will be opened. Construction Constraints: Please note the requirements for the Forbo Floor installer. The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the University. Contract duration: One Time Purchase Contract renewal: Not Applicable Prices good for: 45 days Regions: Utah, Salt Lake Redwood Health Center-Aesthetics Phase II Remodel: This project is upgrading the building's interior aesthetics. Project will consist of demolition of existing wall coverings throughout the entire facility. Walls will then be prepped and painted. Existing carpeting as shown on drawings will be removed and replaced. Existing transaction area in pharmacy will be demolished and replaced with new millwork. Some outlet relocations will be completed to meet the new layout. Ceiling updates will be done at new pharmacy transaction counter. Other misc millwork, as shown on drawings, will be replaced with new millwork. Existing coffered ceiling features at main reception, endoscopy waiting and level 2 waiting will be demolished and new lay-in ceiling grid added. Existing wall finishes at level 1 and level 2 elevator lobby areas will be demolished and replaced with new wall finishes. Toilet rooms will be completed to the extent the budget will allow. See 'Alternates" section of specification and drawing set. Some furniture replacement will be completed by the Owner, "Not in the Contractors Contract" (N.I.C.)
