Demolition and site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Asheville, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the demolition of a sidewalk / parking lot; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Description of Work: The project consists of removing eight (8) old bus shelters throughout various locations in the City of Asheville service area that are in poor condition and/or no longer served by the Asheville Rides Transit (ART) transit system. Scope includes salvaging existing materials for reuse when specified, and disposing of unwanted shelter parts. Any existing concrete pads at shelter locations should remain intact for future reuse, or be repaired if damage occurs during demolition. All materials to be disposed of shall be disposed of by the contractor. All materials to be salvaged shall be returned to the ART Transit Garage at 360 W. Haywood Street for storage within five days of scheduled demolition. Drop-off of materials to the Transit Garage can be coordinated with John McDaniel at john.mcdaniel@ratpdev.com. Estimated Project Start Monday February 21, 2022 Deadline to Submit Questions Monday, January 10, 2022 The City of Asheville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities.
