Pursuant to the General Statutes of North Carolina, statements of qualification will be received for the following: Land Surveyor Services for Various Conservatoin Easements Buncombe County is seeking candidates interested in providing the services of conservation easement surveying in accordance with NCAC Title 21, Chapter 56, Section.1600 and G.S. 47-30. Buncombe County encourages submittals from minority businesses by providing certified minorities an equal opportunity to participate in all aspects of the RFQ process. Buncombe County anticipates the need of licensed surveyors to provide the services of conservation easement surveys throughout the 2022 calendar year o Letter of Interest - A letter of interest must be submitted that includes the following: o Please list four completed conservation easement projects in Buncombe County carried out in the last five years; o Provide the number of years of professional experience, and educational background inclusive of professional certifications; o Provide the office location(s) which will be providing the services C. Qualifications Applicants will be evaluated in conjunction with the anticipated needs of County and information provided by the applicants as well as information obtained from references, persons, or other sources identified by the applicant or otherwise known by the County. Interviews are not anticipated; however, additional information may be requested. Buncombe County anticipates selecting several surveyors for the referenced work, followed by negotiations for service fees for one or multiple projects per firm. D.
