Engineering Estimate: $ 667,616.00 LEGAL NOTICE Pursuant to Ordinance 2021-120, adopted by Findlay City Council on December 21, 2021, bids will be received via the Bid Express website at www.bidexpress.com until 2:00 p.m. on January 25, 2022, and then publicly opened in the Third Floor Conference Room, Municipal Building for the furnishing of necessary labor and materials for the following: HAN-FINDLAY BRIGHT ROAD PHASE II (PID108772) PROJECT #32811800 Bids must be submitted via Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com using the electronic forms furnished by the City. A hard copy of minimum specifications may be viewed at the City of Findlay Engineering Department., 318 Dorney Plaza, Room 304 Municipal Building, Findlay, Ohio 45840 (419-424-7121 or fax 419-424-7120). Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit payable to the City of Findlay, Ohio, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract. Bids will be accepted from ODOT pre-qualified contractors only. Bidders are advised that this is a Federal-aid project. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Requirement. DBE participation goals (subcontracts, materials, supplies) of 6%, have been set on this project for those certified as DBEs pursuant to Title 23, U.S.C section 140 (c) and 49 CFR, Part 26, and where applicable qualified to bid with ODOT under Chapter 5525 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). All Bidders shall submit a DBE Utilization Plan at the time of bid setting forth specific information demonstrating how the Bidder will achieve the DBE goal.
