Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Dunnellon, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
As of April 8, 2022, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. To construct the new ranger station and associated site work per the contract documents. The Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Design and Construction is soliciting formal, competitive, sealed bids from Contractors licensed to work in the jurisdiction for the project listed below. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and permitting to construct the new ranger station and associated site work per the contract documents. Builder's Risk Insurance is required for this project and must be included in bid price. Note: Bidder Prequalification is required for all bids. Each bidder shall provide a copy of its biennial pre-qualification letter from FDEP's Bureau of Design and Construction. If not prequalified, the bidder must submit a current State Contractor license certification or registration and current Corporate Charter registration with the bid. Failure to file a Notice of Intent to Protest or a formal, written Protest in accordance with Rule 28-110, F.A.C., within ten days after the 72- hour period ends, as prescribed in Section 120.57(3), Florida Statutes, shall constitute a waiver of your right to an administrative hearing on the Bid Specifications under Chapter 120, Florida Statutes. Rules for bid protests can be found in sections 120.569 and 120.57, F.S., and Chapter 28-110, Florida Administrative Code. A bid protester shall comply with these statutes and rules. The contractor shall provide all necessary materials, equipmet, Labor & Supervision to construct a ranger station with associated parking, as well as all paving, walks, drainage, grading, water connection, sanitary sewer connection, Driveway connection, and site landscape *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
