Work and materials consisting of : BALL DIAMOND LIGHTING FOR the Greenville High School 200-foot softball diamond & Greenville High School 300-foot baseball diamond. The proposed lighting systems will include all work and material necessary to provide complete LED lighted ballfields meeting the targeted average illumination levels shown on the plans and specifications meeting IES RP-6- 15 page 2 and all plans and specifications outlined on the project plans gathered by Netemeyer Engineering Associates, Inc dated January 10, 2021. Work and materials shall include electrical, transformers, switches, connections, underground wiring, etc. to the existing panels shown on the plans to provide a complete working system. The work shall include all electrical design services to determine wiring sizes, conduit sizes, switch materials, breakers, etc. The selected contractor is required to submit design proposals for review and acceptance to the school district and their representatives for approval prior to award of this work. If for any reason, the awarded Bidder cannot execute the Work outlined in these Contract documents, this Bidder shall forfeit the Bid deposit or the amount of the Bid Bond to the Owner as liquidated damages. The Contractor to whom an award shall be made pursuant to this contract shall be subject to all applicable Federal and State Laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informality or to accept any Bid which in the judgment of the Owner may be the most advantageous to them. No Bids may be withdrawn after the opening of Bids, without the consent of the Owner, for a period of sixty (60) days thereafter.
