Woodland Public Schools (WPS) have certain Capital Improvement projects that require the services of consulting firms. Consultants are requested to provide their qualifications for providing architectural and engineering services related to the projects on EXHIBIT A. This Request for Qualifications is not for a specific project. Projects shall be awarded either individually or may be combined at the discretion of BPS. BPS shall review the responses to this RFQ and shall select a list of respondents deemed most qualified. This selection is scheduled to take place within 45 days of the due date for responses. Projects shall be awarded based upon the WPS review of the selected respondents. Respondents shall be evaluated and awards granted based upon the following format and criteria described below. Respondent's format shall be as follows, are considered mandatory, and shall not exceed 50 pages. Current CAP 254 or 255 may be required by WPS in the future but does not need to be included in this proposal. Provide the following items tabbed as follows: Cover letter (maximum 2 pages) "Firm Description" (TAB) (maximum 2 pages) -Include a complete narrative description of the respondent's firm. Information should include: o The respondent's areas of architectural specializations o Firm History o Honors and Awards related to Education Facility Design Location of home and branch offices and which office staff for these BPS projects will be based ou Names of the principal officers of the firm o Identification of the major consultants commonly used in projects "Executive Summary" (TAB) (maximum 10 pages)- Include a narrative description of the respondent's firm as it relates to the topics listed below: Demonstrated experience in Pre-K-12 design Demonstrated creativity in the design of Pre-K-12 facilities Demonstrated ability to meet budgets and schedules Demonstrated ability to do phased renovations and additions in an active Pre-K-12 environment o Demonstrated ability to design storm shelters o Demonstrated experience working with the Construction Management Delivery Method "Relevant Pre-K-12 Experience" (TAB)-Provide information about prior and current education facility designs prepared by your firm in the past ten (10) years. Include a project description and amount for each project. "Appendix" (TAB)-Additional Information deemed pertinent by respondent may be considered but is not mandatory. Awards for individual projects or bundles of projects may involve interviews of four or more selected respondents. Consultants' awarded projects shall be required to provide bond planning, programming, construction drawings, and construction administration services. All Questions must be submitted electronically and addressed to Rick Scott Construction no later than January 20, 2022. No verbal communication will be accepted. Respondents short listed for interview will be notified by WPS for actual day and time. Each submittal must conform and be responsive to the requirements set forth in this RFQ. The district reserves the right to waive any informalities or regularities in received submittals.
