Work shall consist of construction of a new shared use sidewalk along the eastern side of River Street between Fort Street and Turner Street and roadway corridor improvements on River Street and Rutter Avenue as shown on the Construction Documents, including but not limited to: concrete curbing, pavement base repair, milling and overlay, concrete sidewalk, ADA curb ramps (design and construction), concrete and asphalt driveway aprons, drainage structures and pipes, underground conduit, pavement markings and signing, tree removal, new tree planting, lawn restoration, maintenance and protection of traffic, erosion controls, surveying, mobilization, utility coordination and all associated work. A bid bond, certified check or cash in the amount of 10% of the bid amount is required to be submitted with each bid, payable to Forty Fort Borough, as a guarantee of the bidder's willingness to execute the contract if awarded the same. All bids shall be sent to the Borough's Office by courier (USPS, UPS, or FedEx) which could be tracked. Bid Envelopes/Packets are to be sealed and plainly marked with the Project Name and contain all the specifications and the 10% Bid Bond along with all other pertinent information. The project site is located at River Street and Rutter Avenue in Forty Fort, PA. The right to reject any and all bids is hereby reserved by Forty Fort Borough.
