A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled, but the site will be made available to any contractor requesting access. Visitors must enter at the main entrance and have a valid State ID to check-in at the security station. All COVID-19 prevention measures that are in place, within the State of Minnesota and as required by the District, must be observed. Attendance at this meeting is highly recommended. This project includes: Replacement of existing Middle School track. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check, or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Independent School District #200 in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before August 12, 2022. Work under this Contract includes: 1. Civil a. Removal weather surface from existing track and other field events. Remove and reclaim existing bituminous. b. Pave reclaimed bituminous at track and field event locations. c. Provide new track surface; striping, numbers, and logos. 2. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problems.
