Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hastings, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
This Project is Targeted Group (TG) Economically Disadvantaged (ED) Veteran-Owned preference. A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Remove 330 SY bituminous surface on approach trail and roadway. 2. Remove 295 SY bituminous wearing surface on timber bridge deck. 3. Remove and replace 84 LF of timber bridge railing on each side of bridge. 4. Remove and replace 235 LF of guard railing horizontal members. 5. Excavate behind each abutment and replace with 118 CY of select granular borrow and 22 CY class 5 aggregate base. 6. Furnish and install bituminous surface on approach trail (96 SY) and bituminous surface on approach roadway (234 SY). 7. Furnish and install 234 SY of bituminous surface on approach roadway. 8. Complete associated turf establishment and final site stabilization. C.
