Water Tower Rehabilitation and Repair Project #8085833 Cleaning, repairing, and painting the 750,000-gallon elevated reservoir constructed in 1985 by Pittsburg-Des Moines Steel Co. The project includes the following work on the 750,000-gallon capacity reservoir. 1. Cleaning, sandblasting, and painting all interior and exterior surfaces. Full containment is mandatory. 2. Performing miscellaneous structure modifications. 3. Welding and grinding to remove scab marks, weld spatter, poor welds, and other surface irregularities or corrosion damage. The project is scheduled to start on July 18, 2022 and be completed by October 17, 2022.
