Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Proposed plans to rehabilitate Richardson Park and provide accessible recreation facilities for residents of all abilities. Project includes plans to add a walking trail, complete with LED lighting, a new pavilion near the park's front entrance, an inclusive playground for families of all abilities, ADA-compliant benches, new trash receptacles, pedestal-mount barbecue grills, and a full basketball court for the youth. In addition, the project aims to add parking spaces to aid in traffic congestion on the streets surrounding the park, removal of blighted structures and the addition of upgraded bathroom facilities. As of January 10, 2022, this project is in the planning phase. An engineer has not been selected.
