The work consists of construction of approximately 1,050 linear feet of a bolted 6-foot tall black wrought iron fence along the southern and eastern property lines of the Pine Forest Green detention pond. The deadline to ask questions is 1/24/2022 11:00 AM CST The project is located in Barker-Cypress Municipal Utility District in Harris County, Texas, north of Clay Road, south of Kieth Harrow Boulevard, east of Windsong Trail Drive, and west of Queenston Boulevard. Within 10 days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, the Contractor shall submit a construction schedule to the Engineer for approval. The schedule shall be in the form of a Gantt Chart (bar chart) and shall indicate the order in which the work is to be performed. The sequence and interdependence of all major activities must be shown. The schedule shall be drawn to a calendar time scale. The commencement and completion dates for each activity shall be shown, as well as the duration in calendar days, for each activity. The schedule shall show not only the activities for actual physical construction of the project, but also the activities such as the Contractor's submittal of shop drawings and the Engineer's review and approval of the shop drawings. Failure to include any element of work required to complete the project within the scheduled contract time shall not release the Contractor from his obligation to complete the work in accordance with the contract documents. If the actual progress of the work falls behind the Contractor's approved construction schedule, the Owner may elect to deduct the value of work scheduled but not completed from progress payments due. The value of the work will be determined from the Contractor's approved schedule of values. These deductions will continue until the Contractor has taken steps to bring the progress of the project back in line with the approved construction schedule.
