Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Fresno, California. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 5,400-square-foot fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The City of Fresno Fire Department (City) is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified architectural/engineering firms to design and prepare construction documents, plans, specifications, and probable construction cost estimates for the New Permanent Fire Station No. 12. Once all SOQs are received the City will interview those consultants who have been determined most qualified for the scope of work required. The selected Consultant shall be qualified to prepare the required plans for a Development Permit through the Development Review Committee (DRC) process within the City of Fresno Planning Division as well as a full set of plans required for submission to the City of Fresno Building & Safety Division for plan check. The full set of plans will need to be coordinated with all appropriate utility agencies, including but not limited to, AT&T, PG&E, Cable/Telecom, Water, Sewer, Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District, Fresno Irrigation District and the County of Fresno Health Department. The design consultant shall either renovate an existing 7,600 square foot clear span steel building to serve as the new Fire Station No. 12 and include a new 5,400 square foot addition for apparatus and storage space; or the design consultant shall demolish the existing 7,600 square foot building and design a brand-new fire station building large enough to accommodate current staffing at Fire Station No. 12 as well as future growth in staffing and apparatus.
