Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; transportation facility; transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
The work generally involves the rehabilitation of Runway 07-25, Taxiways Bravo and Charlie pavements including cold milling and placement of hot mix asphalt, crack repairs, frost heave repairs, topsoil stripping, excavation, storm sewer/subdrain and pipe culvert rehabilitation, dewatering, construction of Runway End Safety Areas (RESA), replacement of runway and taxiway edgelighting, replacement of the Runway 07 approach lighting system, installation of runway guard lights, new airside guidance signs, Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI) modifications, airfield cabling replacement, pavement sensor replacement, pavement line marking, restoration and related works.
