PURPOSE The intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a multi-year contract with a qualified licensed contractor to furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for removing, replacing, constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining damaged wood, vinyl, chain link and all other types of fencing. This also includes the removal, replacement, installation, repair, and maintenance of thoroughfare/street guardrails on an as needed basis. BACKGROUND The Town of Herndon is the third largest town in the Commonwealth of Virginia and home to more than 23,000 residents. CONTRACT PERIOD The initial term of this contract is for one year commencing upon the date that the contract is fully executed. The contract has four (4) one-year optional renewals.
