The Project consists of: Contract 1 - 59,665 lf of waterline replacements, well pump replacements, well house construction, disinfection equipment, and well control replacement. Water Supply & Distribution System Improvements The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon and State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. MBE, WBE and Section 3-DBE bidders are encouraged to bid. Bidders should note the new requirements for OSHA training of workmen and the requirements prohibiting the employment of unauthorized aliens prohibited including the submission of an Affidavit of Work Authorization with their bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. No pre-bid conference will be held. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Work will be substantially completed within 365 calendar days ; General Conditions within 60 calendar days after the date for substantial completion for all Contracts. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
