Contract 2 - 125,000 gallon elevated storage tank painting and repairs. Bids shall be on unit price basis. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and Davis Bacon and State Prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246. MBE, WBE and Section 3-DBE bidders are encouraged to bid. Bidders should note the new requirements for OSHA training of workmen and the requirements prohibiting the employment of unauthorized aliens prohibited including the submission of an Affidavit of Work Authorization with their bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. No pre-bid conference will be held. The Work will be substantially completed within 365 calendar days ; General Conditions within 60 calendar days after the date for substantial completion for all Contracts. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
