The Lake Stevens School District No. 4 (District) is soliciting bids for the installation electronic locking and access hardware, security cameras, associated low voltage infrastructure, and limited selected cutting and patching of existing construction. Work will occur at six elementary schools, two middle schools, one mid-high school (grades 8 and 9), one high school, and three school district support facilities. Base Bids and Bid Securities received after this time may not be accepted. All Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the Bidder's name, address, the name of the project and the deadline date and time appearing on the OUTSIDE of the envelope. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidders to see that their Bids are delivered by the designated time. No responsibility will be taken by the District for wrong delivery by any Bidder, for delays in the US Mail or delivery services, or internal district mail, or for misaddressed or misrouted Bids. The District will accept handdelivered bids at the District's Educational Services Center. For those bidders who are hand delivering bids to the District office, we ask that you please maintain a distance of at least six feet from all other individuals when dropping off bids, and facial coverings must be worn while inside District facilities. The Owner reserves the right to accept the lowest or any other Bid, the right to reject any or all Bids, and the right to waive any irregularities in any Bid. No Bid may be withdrawn, except with the express permission of the Owner, after the hour set for the opening thereof unless the award of Contract is delayed for a period exceeding 45 days. Bidders' attention is directed to State and Federal laws concerning wages, working hours and other conditions of employment and all requirements for public works construction. Contract is subject to Washington State L&I Prevailing Wage Rates effective on the Bid date. Project Locations include: Glenwood Elementary School, Highland Elementary School, Hillcrest Elementary School, Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School, Skyline Elementary School, Sunnycrest Elementary School, Lake Stevens Middle School, North Lake Middle School, Cavelero Mid High School, Lake Stevens High School, Lake Stevens School District Educational Service Center, and the Lake Stevens School District Maintenance and Grounds buildings. The Work consists of, but is not limited to: a. Installation of new exterior and interior doors and frames. b. Replacement of doors in existing frames. c. Electronic door hardware, card readers and associated low voltage infrastructure. d. Installation of security cameras and associated infrastructure. e. Limited cutting, removal and patching of existing finishes. 2. The Work includes cutting and patching of existing masonry and gypsum wallboard surfaces, removal and re-installation of existing finishes such as lay-in ceiling tile, and cutting and patching of interior and exterior wall finishes.
